This Could Be The First Phone To Launch With Snapdragon 8 Gen 4

Qualcomm is known for offering powerful chipsets that can easily handle anything you throw at them. Furthermore, the company will soon unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. A new report has revealed the first phone with the upcoming flagship processor. Here is everything you need to know about the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 phone.

Xiaomi 15 And Xiaomi 15 Pro Will Be First Phone To Launch With 8 Gen 4

A new leak by tipster Yogesh Brar revealed that Xiaomi will be the first company to unveil phones running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Furthermore, the phone has managed to get exclusive first launch rights for the chipset, and the Xiaomi 15 series will likely debut with it.

In addition, the tipster claims that both OnePlus and iQOO will be the second in line to release phones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Furthermore, the first phones to debut with the chipset will be the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro,iQOO 13 and the OnePlus 13.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is likely based on a 3nm architecture based on the TSMC node. It will offer a custom Oryon CPU with an improved Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for AI-related tasks.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will likely launch at the Snapdragon Summit in October of this year. This means the first phone with the chipset will likely arrive around the same time, likely in November.

For instance, the Snapdragon 8 Gen debuted in late October, while the Xiaomi 14 arrived in early November. We can expect a similar timeline for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Xiaomi 15.
