Xiaomi To Launch Its 1st Civi Phone In India
A new teaser posted by Xiaomi on its official X account parodies the Apple Crush advertisement. Following the launch of the Apple iPad earlier this month, the advertisement became controversial. Eventually, Apple had to apologise for the advertisement.

The company has teased launching its first Civi smartphone in the country, likely the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro in India. The teaser follows the format of Apple’s popular crush advertisement.

Civi 4 Pro Specs (Expected)
Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro could arrive in India with a 6.55-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection is also included.

The smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU and Adreno 735 GPU. It offers up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and has 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM.

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro runs on Xiaomi HyperOS with Android 14. Furthermore, it packs a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro could launch in India with three cameras: a 12MP ultra-wide, a 50MP telephoto, and a 50MP main with a Leica Summilux lens. Moreover, two 32MP front cameras with an ultra-wide lens are housed within. According to rumours, the phone may be priced in the Rs.50,000 range.
