iQOO has confirmed the launch of a new anniversary edition of its flagship, the iQOO 12 5G, in India. The phone arrived in India in December last year and offered top-of-the-line specifications with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The CEO of iQOO India, Nipun Marya, has announced it will launch the iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition to mark the completion of the company’s four years in the country.

While the company has not revealed any details regarding the anniversary edition, it is likely to offer a new colour or finish that is different from the existing models. Some speculate the iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition could be a rebrand of the Burning Way colour currently available in China.

However, the rest of the specifications will be the same as the iQOO 12 normal variant. iQOO has also confirmed it will conduct international fan gatherings and offers on its entire smartphone range on Amazon and iQOO e-store.

iQOO 12 Specifications
The iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the screen has LTPO support and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

The phone relies on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It ships with FunTouch OS 14, which is based on Android, and offers 512GB of storage.

For optics, the iQOO 12 has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens. It also has a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging. It will be available in Alpha and Legend colours.

Chinese leading tech giant Vivo may soon launch its latest foldable smartphone in India. Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro were recently launched in China. This phone will launch in India soon. Although there is no official confirmation, the Indian version may have similar specifications to the Chinese version. According to reports, the base model Vivo X Fold 3 will be launched in India soon. It is also the industry’s thinnest folding model.

Vivo X Fold 3 is already launched in China. So, it features an 8.03-inch 2K E7 AMOLED main display and a 6.53-inch AMOLED top screen with ultra-thin glass (UTG) protection. The Vivo X Fold 3 comes in two colours – Feather White and Thin Wing Black. The Vivo X Fold 3 base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM is priced at CNY 6,999, which will be approximately Rs. 80,000 in India. Additionally, the 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB versions are priced at CNY 7,499 roughly Rs. 87,800 and CNY 7,999 approximately Rs.93,600, respectively Indian market. Currently, these phones are available in the Chinese market.

A leak by Android Headlines revealed the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra specifications and renders. Furthermore, the report claims the phone will be called the Motorola X50 Ultra in other markets.

The Edge 50 Ultra will be available in three colours, including the Pantone colour of the year, Peach Fuzz. The Peach Fuzz and Black variants will have vegan leather, while the Sisal variant will have a brushed finish
