iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition To Debut In India, Could Bring New Colour

iQOO has confirmed the launch of a new anniversary edition of its flagship, the iQOO 12 5G, in India. The phone arrived in India in December last year and offered top-of-the-line specifications with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition will celebrate four years of the company in India. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming smartphone.

The CEO of iQOO India, Nipun Marya, has announced it will launch the iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition to mark the completion of the company’s four years in the country.

While the company has not revealed any details regarding the anniversary edition, it is likely to offer a new colour or finish that is different from the existing models. Some speculate the iQOO 12 Anniversary Edition could be a rebrand of the Burning Way colour currently available in China.

However, the rest of the specifications will be the same as the iQOO 12 normal variant. iQOO has also confirmed it will conduct international fan gatherings and offers on its entire smartphone range on Amazon and iQOO e-store.

iQOO 12 Specifications
The iQOO 12 features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the screen has LTPO support and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

The phone relies on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It ships with FunTouch OS 14, which is based on Android, and offers 512GB of storage.

For optics, the iQOO 12 has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens. It also has a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging. It will be available in Alpha and Legend colours.
