Redmi 13C Confirmed To Launch In India On This Date

Xiaomi has revealed that its upcoming budget smartphone, the Redmi 13C, will arrive in India in December. The Xiaomi Redmi 13C launched in China earlier this month and is the successor to the Xiaomi Redmi 12C. The specifications of the upcoming smartphone have leaked and will likely bring incremental upgrades.

Redmi 13C Will Launch In India On December 6
Xiaomi has announced that it will launch the Redmi 13C in the country on December 6. According to a post by Redmi India on X (Formerly Twitter), the budget smartphone will debut in two colours: Stardust Black and Star Shine Green.

Furthermore, the company has confirmed it will have a 50-megapixel AI primary camera. According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Redmi 13C will use the MediaTek Helio G85 in India.

Furthermore, the Redmi 13C will have a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Helio G85 will power the phone paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It will run on MIUI 14 out of the box based on Android 13 and have up to 256GB of storage.

The phone will sport a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens for optics. On the front, it will have an 8-megapixel camera for taking selfies.

The Redmi 13C will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W PD charging. Moreover, the phone will have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, FM Radio, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-SD card for connectivity.

Furthermore, it will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security. The Redmi 13C is available globally in Clover Green, Glacier White, Midnight Black and Navy Blue colours.
