Key features revealed in FCC certification
The FCC certification document reveals several key aspects of the Poco F7 Pro, offering a glimpse into its specifications. One of the standout features is the device’s large 5,830 mAh battery (up from 5000 mAh), which should provide ample power for all-day use. Although, the charging speed is downgraded from 120W of the Poco F6 Pro to 90W. The F7 Pro will run on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0, which is based on Android 15, signaling a modern and feature-packed software experience. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 and dual-band WiFi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), as well as 4G LTE and 5G NR support across multiple frequency bands.

Another interesting news from the FCC documents is the design of the Poco F7 Pro. The phone is widely speculated to be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Redmi K80, which was launched in China at the end of November. If true, the global version of the Poco F7 Pro could share similar hardware, including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, a 6.67-inch 2K 120 Hz AMOLED display, and a 50 MP Sony LYT-800 primary camera sensor. The phone is also expected to be water and dust resistant and IP68/IP69 certified to ensure durability in various environments. Overall, the Poco F7 Pro promises to be a highly competitive performance-centric device that offers significant performance improvements over its predecessor.
