Details from the FCC certification listing

According to the FCC listing, both the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro are expected to feature advanced wireless network capabilities. The standard Pad 7 will support Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), while the Pad 7 Pro will be equipped with the more advanced Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard. Additionally, both tablets will run on Xiaomi’s custom HyperOS 2.0, which debuted with the company’s latest smartphones and offers an optimized user interface across devices. The certification also revealed memory configurations for both models. The Xiaomi Pad 7 will come in three variants: 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, and a more premium 12GB RAM version with 512GB of storage. The Pad 7 Pro will offer more options, with 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage.

Specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro
Where the two tablets differ most significantly is in their internal specifications. The Xiaomi Pad 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 3 chipset, a solid mid-range processor. Meanwhile, the Pad 7 Pro is equipped with the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, offering better overall performance for demanding tasks like gaming and multitasking. Despite the differences in processing power, the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro share many similar features, including their design and display. Both tablets boast an 11.2-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 3,200 x 2,136 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Their dimensions are also nearly identical, with both measuring 251.2 x 173.4 x 6.2 mm and weighing around 500 grams. In terms of camera features, the Pad 7 comes with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. However, the Pad 7 Pro comes with a 50MP rear camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 32MP front camera, making it a better option for photography and video calling. Both tablets come with 8,850mAh batteries, but with different charging speeds. The Pad 7 supports 45W fast charging (up from 33W on the Pad 6), while the Pad 7 Pro can charge even faster at 67W (same as the Pad 6 Pro), ensuring faster charging times.
