Xiaomi Pad 7 Gets Certified, Expected to Launch Early Next Year

Posted on October 8, 2024 by bella

Xiaomi‘s upcoming tablet Xiaomi Pad 7 is rumoured to be launched in October alongside the upcoming Xiaomi 15 series flagship smartphones. The brand usually takes a few months to launch its devices in the global market, however, the brand’s upcoming tablet has already been certified by Indian authorities such as the Bureau of Indian Standards.

The Xiaomi Pad 7 has appeared on BIS with model number ‘2410CRP4CI.’ Previous certifications in Singapore hint at a global launch as well. While the launch timeline is unclear, we expect the tablet to debut in the global market sometime in Q1 of 2025.
Based on earlier leaks, Xiaomi will be launching two tablets called the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro at the upcoming Xiaomi 15 series smartphone launch event. Both tablets will feature high-performance Qualcomm processors.>>>>>>>>Xiaomi Mi Pad 1 – Battery BM60 6010mAh

The Xiaomi Pad 7 is anticipated to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the Pad 7 Pro is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Rumours previously suggested that the brand was working on an OLED tablet, but it looks like the debut version will only be available in an 11-inch LCD display model.

The Pad 7 series will run HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, and may come with a 10,000mAh battery. The brand is also expected to retain the side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It’s still uncertain whether Xiaomi will provide 5G or cellular connectivity for these models. The tablets are expected to feature a USB Type-C 3.2 port for faster data transfers.
