Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 Renders Leak, Reveals Huge Upgrade

Posted on March 4, 2024 by bella

Samsung is planning to launch its next generation of foldable phones, including the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. Recently, the renders for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 5G leaked, and a new leak revealed the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G design. Furthermore, the phone will sport a familiar compact form factor but will feature a huge upgrade underneath. Here is everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 To Offer Larger Battery, Similar Design

According to a render by OnLeaks in collaboration with SmartPrix, the phone will have a similar design to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. These renders showcase the phone in Lavender colour and offer a glimpse of the phone’s design.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 leak reveals a 6.7-inch inner display with a centre-punch hole cutout similar to its predecessor. Furthermore, the phone has a power button, which acts as the fingerprint sensor, and the volume buttons are on the right.

In addition, you get the USB-C port for charging, a primary speaker and a microphone at the bottom. The placement of these ports and buttons remains unchanged from the last iteration.

However, there is a change in dimensions, and the phone is thicker this time, increasing from 6.9mm to 7.4mm. This suggests the phone will have a larger battery this time.

On the back, the phone will have the same 3.4-inch cover screen and a dual camera setup. Moreover, it will have the same hinge mechanism as the latest year with no gap in its folded state.

Z Flip 6 Expected Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will sport a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ screen and a 3.4-inch cover screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will power the phone paired with AI features.

It will ship with One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 out of the box and will feature a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel sensor. Furthermore, the phone will likely have a 4,000mAh battery and receive seven years of OS updates.

The phone will arrive at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July and will likely cost $999 for the base storage variant with 256GB of storage.
