LG has made its foray into the foldable laptop segment with its new LG Gram Fold. It has launched its first folding laptop called the LG Gram Fold, which will rival the likes of HP, ASUS and Lenovo in this segment. The LG Gram series is known for offering thin and lightweight laptops with powerful specifications.

The LG Gram Fold sports a 17-inch Foldable OLED display with a 2560×1920 pixels resolution. When folded, it can become a 12-inch screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. This display has DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification with 99.5 per cent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The laptop will be available at a discounted price of 3.99 million won (around Rs.2,46,115) for the first 200 customers. It will be available in South Korea starting September 25 in all 20 LG Electronics Best Shop stores. In addition, it will also be available online from October 4 on the LG online store.

Adding the USB-C to the Magic lineup could be an interesting change, as the current models have been criticized for having a lightning port at the bottom. However, there is no information on whether Apple will change the position of the port or not.

Gurman further predicts the AirPods Max will also transition to the USB-C port but does not provide the exact timeline. He also claims accessories like the MagSafe Battery Pack and MagSafe Duo will return with the USB-C port.
