Realme is set to launch the Realme Neo 7 with a massive 7,000mAh battery and Dimensity 9300 Plus chip on 11 December in China, and yesterday the device appeared in the Chinese TENAA certification database with its key specs and images. Today, the brand has released a video and images that officially confirm the Neo 7’s design for the first time.

According to Xu Qi, Vice President, Global Marketing President, and President of Realme China, the Neo 7 is the first product in the Neo series since it became independent. The brand has released an image showcasing the Neo 7 in the Starship Edition color option. The company has incorporated an unconventional design for the Neo 7’s rear camera module. Xu Qi added that the camera module’s new “star step” design is the result of precise metal processing. This design, combined with elements such as a flat screen, upright middle frame, back panel lines, and geometric chamfer Deco, creates a stable and calm “starship space” aesthetic.Despite housing a massive 7000mAh battery, known for its bulkiness, the device maintains a slim profile of only 8.5mm, which is 0.1mm thinner than its predecessor (Realme GT Neo 6) while increasing the battery capacity by 1500mAh.

This achievement is credited to the new battery technology developed in collaboration with Ningde New Energy, offering an industry-leading energy density of 800 Wh/L. This technology enables a higher capacity within the same volume, and the use of a folded circuit board design reduces the top thickness by 30 percent, making the 7000mAh battery even thinner than a typical 5000mAh graphite battery. Realme also confirmed that the Realme Neo 7 with Dimensity 9300 Plus features a 7,700mm² VC liquid cooling system that ensures constant high performance output. According to the TENAA listing, the Neo 7 measures 162.55 x 76.39 x 8.56mm and weighs around 213.4 grams. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. It comes with a 50MP + 80MP dual camera on the back and a 16MP camera on the front. In China, the device will come with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. The device will also come with other features like 80W charging, dual speakers, an infrared emitter, and Android 15 based on Realme UI 6.
