Shortly after the release of the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung is expected to release its next-generation mid-range devices, the Galaxy A36 and A56, possibly within the first quarter of 2025. Camera specifications of the Galaxy A36
The Galaxy A36 is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main rear camera, similar to what the current Galaxy A35 offers. However, the most notable upgrade is on the front of the device, where Samsung has reportedly equipped the Galaxy A36 with a 12-megapixel selfie camera, replacing the previous 13-megapixel one. In addition to camera specs, unofficial images of the Galaxy A36 have leaked, suggesting a possible design change. The A36 may feature a more defined camera island, instead of individual lenses protruding directly from the back, giving it a more cohesive look. Additionally, the Galaxy A36 has made several appearances on Geekbench, suggesting that it will be powered by a Qualcomm processor – possibly a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or 7s Gen 2. Benchmarked models are shown to have 6 GB of RAM, and it’s expected to run Android 15, which brings performance optimisations and the latest software experience.
