LEAKED: DJI’s new high-end drone and RC Plus 2 remote control

Posted on November 11, 2024 by bella

One of the top models of the Mavic 4 series has been revealed in a leaked live video. The latest leak also features a photo of the RC Plus 2, which will serve as a new high-end remote control for DJI‘s future high-end consumer and enterprise drones.>>>>>>>>>>>DJI Intelligent Flight – Battery Mavic_Pro 3830mAh/43.6Wh

DJI has released quite a few devices this year, including a new action camera called the Osmo Action 5 Pro (curr. $349 on Amazon). Additionally, it has has updated its consumer drone product line with the Air 3S and Neo. However, the Mavic 3 series remains the company’s flagship drone offering over three years after its debut. Various sightings of possible successors have surfaced online through high-profile leakers in recent months though. In summary, the Mavic 4 was spotted alongside the Mavic 3 Pro. Based on that leak, it seemed as though the Mavic 4 series would feature a ball-shaped camera housing in a departure from the current Mavic 3 series.>>>>>>>>>>>DJI Mavic 2 Pro – Battery 623758-1S2P 3850mAh 15.129Wh

Conversely, new footage showing what @OsitaLV, @JasperEllens and @Quadro_News all believe is a crashed Mavic 4 Enterprise suggests otherwise. Embedded below, the shots show a squarer look to the drone’s camera housing, which protects three lenses. Unfortunately, no other details about these cameras can be gleaned, although an array of top and bottom-mounted sensors can be seen. Incidentally, it looks like the next-gen drones have extra sturdy arms, which usually deform in crashes.

Meanwhile, @Quadro_News has shared the first images of a new RC Plus controller called the RC Plus 2. In short, there are some design differences between the two products, although the latter seems to continue the overall layout of the former. Presumably, the RC Plus 2 will debut alongside the Mavic 4 or Mavic 4 Enterprise, both of which may also have larger batteries than their predecessors. At this point, it looks like DJI may have to wait until early 2025 to launch both drones and any accompanying accessories.
