Realme Launches Supersonic Charging: Fully charged in just 4 minutes!

Realme‘s latest innovation in proprietary fast charging was finally unveiled at the annual 828Fan Fest in China on Wednesday. The 320W supersonic charging technology claims to be able to charge a smartphone in about four and a half minutes. Additionally, the company also showcased a state-of-the-art foldable smartphone battery. The launch event also announced the company’s upcoming smartphones – Realme 13 series.

The Vice President of Realme, Chase Xu, showcased the 320W SuperSonic Charge technology on the stage, during the event. The company claims that this technology can charge a smartphone from zero to 100 percent in just 4 minutes 30 seconds.

It further claims that with one minute of charging, the battery will charge up to 26%. And, with two minutes of charging, you can charge up to 50%.

Realme 320W charging technology is called a “4-minute miracle”. The company states that with this technology you can charge a smartphone in as much time as you take to make a cup of coffee or play one song. The company confirms the technologies they have used to develop a high-rated, yet safe charging mechanism. It supports various mainstream charging protocols like UFCS (up to 320W), SuperVOOC, and PD.

Furthermore, the company states that it offers simultaneous charging as well via USB Type-C outputs that support up to 150W charge for Realme handsets and 65W for compatible laptops.

Realme also came up with an AirGap Voltage Transformer that will protect the smartphone battery in case of circuit breakdowns. With the transformer in it, the smartphone battery can resist the voltage of 20V. Therefore, the company achieves the thermal efficiency of 98% for its 320W SuperSonic Charge Technology.
