But unlike Apple Intelligence&#8217;s suite of tools, this new feature appears to have only one task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesglobal.co.uk\/smartphone-battery\/Apple\/A2312\/1741324\">>>>>>>>>>Apple iPhone SE (2020) SE2 &#8211; Battery A2312 1821mAh 6.96WH<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/batteriesglobalcouk.up.seesaa.net\/image\/E5BEAEE4BFA1E688AAE59BBE_20241107112552.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img src=\"https:\/\/batteriesglobalcouk.up.seesaa.net\/image\/E5BEAEE4BFA1E688AAE59BBE_20241107112552-thumbnail2.png\" alt=\"\u5fae\u4fe1\u622a\u56fe_20241107112552.png\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>9to5Mac has found a framework called \u2018BatteryIntelligence\u2019 in code from the latest iOS 18.2 beta, and while the feature isn\u2019t active in the beta, it\u2019s reportedly designed to estimate how long it will take to charge your phone. According to 9to5Mac, Battery Intelligence won\u2019t just estimate the time to reach 100%, but it&#8217;ll also let you choose to get an estimate for when your battery will reach 80%, and perhaps other charge levels. It\u2019s easy to see how this could be a useful tool \u2013 if you don\u2019t have long to charge, you\u2019ll be able to get an immediate indication of how fully charged your phone will be able to get in a given time. Or, if you don\u2019t want to charge your phone above a certain level (in order to preserve battery health), but haven\u2019t set a charging limit, you\u2019ll know to check on it after however much time the estimate says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.batteriesglobal.co.uk\/smartphone-battery\/Apple\/616-00417\/1741327\">>>>>>>>>Apple iPhone XR &#8211; Battery 616-00417 2942mAh 11.16WH<\/a>However, it&#8217;s not clear if it will be rolled out as part of iOS 18.2 since the feature is not currently enabled. It could come in iOS 18.3 or later, or Apple could choose not to roll out the tool.
